day 48,49,59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,68

As you can tell I do multiple days on the post now because number one - my life is so crazy busy right now there is simply NO more minutes in a day … I have all 6 kiddos doing an activity and the carpooling for that alone has every night BUSY BUSY BUSY !!! Number two - our days at 147 right now are PACKED with lots of projects to manage and a new website to get done … It is all fun and crazy, but not a lot of time for blogging …

My nutrition plan Mon-Friday is doing really well … I am still at the 132 lbs, still above 50 hydration and my muscle and fat % are the same … I am thinking my goal of 125 lbs and below 26% body fat are going to take some real close monitoring of my diet and some serious toning in the weights area … I am up for that, but it is going to have to wait a bit till life gives me a few extra minutes to focus … I am very proud of myself and feeling good !!!

I hope anyone who is still following this is FOCUSING SOME EFFORT ON THEM … Fueling yourself both physically and mentally and spiritually has so many benefits !!!

My sweet hubby is still on target and it is so funny when someone sees him who hasn't seen him in the last 6-9 months … They simply can't even believe how great and how strong he looks … So I am so happy that he has gotten his health back and I no longer carry that burden of worrying about him in this area … He is actually encouraging me and setting a great example for all of us in the home … I can't tell you how great it is to do the TRANSFORMATION together !!! Husbands and Wives must support each other in a healthy lifestyle …

day 41,42,43,44,45,46,47

Left for spring break last Saturday … I was holding strong at 132 lbs and fully hydrated when I left … I started the break off strong, but I am waining these last couple of days (yikes) … I have definitely done better on this vacation than I have on any other eating wise … I am not going to beat myself up to much because with 6 crazy kiddos in a small condo, staying up late, beaching it, watching bball, hanging with friends - it has been fun fun fun … So I will get back on track SATURDAY … The sun has SWEETENED MY SPIRIT and definitely given me some fun SUMMER motivation to work out … I have done my hour cardio every day (yeah me) … Walked the beach some and had some of the yummiest brownies EVER !!!

Traveling home tomorrow (sad to leave the sun and sand) … You know life is always full of curve balls and somedays you swing and miss and some days you hit it out of the park … THE POINT IS TO KEEP SWINGING !!!

day 33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40

Well I would say I am bit behind, but truth is most of my days are very similar and I didn't want to bore you … (plus I accidentally posted one of my post from here on my personal blog OATSVALLTEAM.BLOGSPOT.COM - can you tell my life is spinning a little crazy right now … lol) … I am loving the RUN CLUB with my 4 littles each Tues/Thursday … Their school is logging workouts for the next month.  I love watching the competitive spirit they have to get in their burn each day … ACTIVE FAMILIES are happy families !!!

I am going to weigh tomorrow before I head to the beach for SPRING BREAK !!! I am hoping it keeps me motivated and on track … I am feeling great … And so excited to take my workouts to the beach and sand !!! I so enjoyed this past Tuesday in the SUN … I walked a crazy quick 5 miles and loved feeling the sweat and my muscles ache … Had an amazing weight training workout also !!! I am sticking to the program and loving the benefits of feeling good and knowing my body is changing for the better …

day 32

I am switching things up a bit (out of necessity) … I have been working out at night the past couple of days because my mornings and days have been packed … I do think it is good to SHOCK the system and not let the body know what is coming or when it is coming sometimes … I have really enjoyed the down time at night to work out and watch one of my favorite TV shows … My boxing gloves arrived (and just in time) … I was in dire need of PUNCHING something (hee hee … telling you the truth there) …

I have decided that since I am leaving for spring break next Saturday that my next weigh in day will be the Friday before I leave … I want to try and stay motivated as much as possible and yet enjoy my VACATION !!! I got my swim short's suit out and it is a little big (yeah) … So excited to walk the beach each morning and just feel the sand in my toes and hopefully get a good sweat going !!!

I am such a summer girl … THE ONLY THING I LIKE ABOUT COLD WEATHER is my boots …  I am ready for my flip flops in a bad way !!!

About to chug my last bottle of water today and off to sleep … thanks for checking in on me … I hope I am challenging and encouraging you to take a little time for yourself … YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!

day 30 & 31

The past two days I have been back on track … I am seriously hitting the WINTER BLUES though and need some sunshine quick …

I am chugging my water (makes me a bit cold all day), but I am doing it … Haven't done my weights, but once in the last 7 days, but hoping to get to them on Friday … I found a couple of new snacks that I am liking (hard to find) - chocolate covered sunflower seeds from South Beach, Nature Valley's Salted Nut Carmel Protein bar, and Boar's Head Saltsilto Turkey is my fav !!! Sticking to my Ezekiel bread and no REGULAR flour bread for my sandwiches … I really think the Ezekiel bread is more filling also …

I always leave the house w/ a protein bar and baggie full of almonds in my purse, so that I am never caught needing a snack or meal … Preparation is the biggest part of the battle !!! You have to be ready for your snack or meal before the time arrives or you will grab and snack on all the wrong things … I know this from experience … I am starting RUN CLUB tomorrow at my kiddos school … Excited to share in this with them - exercise is such an important part of teaching your children how to take care of themselves … MAKE IT FUN !!!  Tonight we all went in the sunroom and exercised for about 40 mins … They love putting on their sneakers, getting a water bottle, and recording it on their school chart (they are doing some type of challenge) and it makes them all motivated … FUN FUN FUN!

day 29

Yesterday was Scott's birthday … and my kiddos where all home for a  SNOW DAY … so needless to say my words did not match my actions (but it was a fun relaxing day) … I think one thing I am struggling with is I need SUNSHINE … I need to get outside and walk some hills and feel the sweat on my face … I am on my treadmill with like 2 sweaters on (cause it is cold where my treadmill is) and I just can't get my BURN on like I would like and my cardio effects my mood and my eating habits … oh well OFF TO A NEW DAY !!!

day 24, 25,26,28 !!!

UUUGGGHHHH computer problems over the past few days .. and honestly I had 3 out of the last 4 days NOT GOOD … I gave in to my cravings and had some pizza and donuts for Elijah's birthday (which we celebrated for two days) … I still got my cardio in … I got really sick after the splurge and I am back on track … I know that there are going to be days when I am not going to make the BEST decisions and the worst thing I can do is GIVE up or beat myself up about the slip … SO I AM GOING TO PICK MYSELF up and get back on track !!!

I know that eating right makes me feel better, so logically why would I not … CRAVINGS really are a beast and that is definitely my weakness … I love food !!! hee hee

Will start tomorrow off like today with my H2O … And I will have a fabulous week !!! YOU are worth it even when you slip up … GET BACK TO IT and move on …
